Terrorist Advertising, a special billboard project, on view from September 23rd, 1993 to February 23, 1994. Northeast corner of Bowery and 5th Street in New York City.The artist has this to say about the work: "I view most advertising as an effort to manipulate peoples' opinions and desires. Advertising designed solely to increase the profits of a corporation at the expense of the individuals sense of self is just as terrible as a gun held to the head of a terrorist victim."
