The installation Transvision comes in two parts:

A black box with a 4m spiral drawn on the floor. Upon entering the visitor hears a voice impelling him or her to follow the spiral in time with a ticking metronome. If the person follows these instructions they trigger an immersive sound space which is influenced by the evolution of the persons trajectory. Failure to comply produces nothing and straying from the spiral triggers a message warning that the experience cannot continue. Where the spiral ends a strident, almost unbearable sound triggers, which cuts out once the persons leaves that spot. Three "surveillance" cameras capture different moments in time and space as the visitor walks through the installation. An accumulation of video layers showing all the people who have followed the spiral, including the current visitors own image is offered on the way out.

This accumulated image along with a rear view image taken as the person enters the space and a frontal portrait as they stand on the center of the spiral are transfered to the Tchumi pavillion, "Glass box". The three images are organized as a dynamic triptych as the figures observe then enter the crowded spiral and in the third frame crumble under the influence of the strident sound.

Transvision proposes a purposefully complex relationship to time and space involving the spectator in a non linear process. This experimentation with automated methods of editing, composing and presentation aims to question the spectators outlook on his or her personal perceptual space, and societies use and abuse of digital media
